Appointment & Payment Policies

To help your appointment go as smoothly as possible, please review the following information before your scheduled backflow test.

Water Must Be Turned On

If your backflow preventer is connected to an irrigation system, please make sure the irrigation water supply is turned on before your appointment.

If the water is turned off, we may be unable to complete the required testing and your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Irrigation End Cap

To complete your backflow test, the PVC end cap on your irrigation line must be installed.

If the cap is missing, we can install a replacement for $10 if one is available. Otherwise, your appointment may need to be rescheduled until the cap has been replaced.

Clear Access to the Device

Please make sure the area around your backflow prevention device is accessible. Trim back vegetation, move any items blocking access, and secure pets before your appointment.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of your backflow test.

To keep the reporting process running smoothly, test results will be submitted to your city or water provider after payment has been received.

We accept:

  • Venmo
  • Check
  • Cash

If Your Device Doesn’t Pass Testing

If your backflow prevention device does not pass its annual test, we’ll explain the results and provide the required documentation so you understand the next steps.

Once any necessary repairs have been completed by a qualified repair company, we’ll return to perform a retest free of charge within 60 days of your first test.
